A Pampering Session
A Pampering Session
As part of Girlguiding UK’s Centenary Celebrations Rangers and Young Leaders were asked what they would like to take part in as a celebration event.
The girls completed a questionnaire and the results revealed that they would
like to have a Pampering session and a “posh meal”.
On Sunday 24th January 2010 a party of Rangers and Young Leaders went to L’Horizon Hotel and Spa where they enjoyed using the swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Some of the girls also enjoyed a manicure whilst sitting back and enjoying the view over St Brelades bay.
Once the girls had all finished relaxing and being pampered they went to the restaurant where they enjoyed a delicious Sunday Brunch.
Nicky Maindonald the organiser of the event said “It was lovely to be able to give the older girls a treat that they really enjoyed and to say thank you to them as they are always willing to help out with the younger girls”.
