Girlguiding Jersey is one of the 16 Counties and
Islands of Girlguiding South West England

Girlguiding was founded in Jersey in 1919

There are currently over 400 members in 32 units which are administered via three districts (East, South & West)

The 32 units are made up as follows:

7  Rainbows units for girls aged five to seven years

16 Brownie units for girls aged seven to ten years

8 Guide units for girls aged ten to fourteen years

1 Senior Section unit for young women aged fourteen to twenty-six years

We also have an active Trefoil Guild who welcome anyone who was previously connected with the Guide movement

We are also one of the 16 Counties and Islands that make up Girlguiding South West England which is part of Girlguiding UK * who are the United Kingdom’s largest voluntary organisation for girls and young women, with around 575,000 members including 65,000 trained volunteer adult leaders.

* “Girlguiding UK” is an operating name of the Guide Association.

About Us
Guiding in Jersey

If you can spare 8 hours a month, you could be helping them reach their full potential as young women.

We rely on volunteers in order that we can continue to help girls reach their full potential as young women.

If you are able to spare some time to help us achieve this we would love to hear from you.
