Rainbows Go Wild Badge
Exclusive to Jersey
On Saturday 12th June 2010 Rainbows from across the Island met at the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust to take part in a Pink & Sparkly event with fun activities followed by a picnic.

For the first activity the girls completed a quiz in small groups accompanied
by their leaders. In order to find the answers to the questions they had to follow a route around the grounds of the trust visiting the various animal enclosures.

After completing the quiz the girls assembled on the main lawn where they had a drink and snack before taking part in their next activity.

Some of the girls completed a craft activity to make a lemur from a cardboard template and the others took part in workshops with members of the Durrell staff to identify butterflies and insects. The groups then swapped over so that every girl took part in each of the activities.

Once everyone had finished their activities a picnic was held on the main lawn and afterwards each girl was given a goodie bag which included a Rainbows Go Wild badge.
