Over six hundred people gathered at the Royal Jersey showground on Wednesday 20th October 2010 for the Vision 2010 event which marked the end of the Girlguiding UK Centenary year.
Island Commissioner Hilary Hardy invited Girls to speak about their mountain top Centenary memories and then some girls spoke about their wishes and aspirations for the future.
There was then a live link up with the Chief Guide Liz Burnley in Oxfordshire at 8:10pm when everyone was able to renew their promise with over half a million other Girlguiding members.
The evening ended with a large fireworks display to launch the next 100 years of Guiding.
