Who Are We?

Girlguiding Jersey was formed in 1919

There are currently over 500 members in 29  units which are administered via three districts (East, South & West)

The 26 units are made up as follows:

7  Rainbows units for girls aged five to seven years

12 Brownie units for girls aged seven to ten years

6 Guide units for girls aged ten to fourteen years

1 Senior Section unit for young women aged fourteen to twenty-six years

We also have two active Trefoil Guilds who welcome any lady over the age of 18.

Girlguiding Jersey are one of the 16 Counties and Islands that make up Girlguiding South West England which is part of Girlguiding UK  who are the United Kingdom’s largest voluntary organisation for girls and young women, with around 450,000 members including 100,000 trained volunteer adult leaders.

Our Island Patron is Lady McColl, Our Island President is Mrs Hilary Hardy and our Island Commissioner is Mrs Michele Peace.
