Why Girlguiding?
From crafting to camping, sports to inventing. There's something for every girl to explore.
Girls can do anything. And we help every girl discover this for herself. Whether your child would like to join Rainbows (4-7), Brownies (7-10), Guides (10-14) or Rangers (14-18), start their Girlguiding journey here.
How does registration work?
1 - Register your interest.
We'll ask for your contact details and a few key pieces of information about your child.
2- Choose the best Girlguiding group for you.
We'll use your details to suggest several local Girlguiding groups - or 'units' - near you. Then it's up to you to choose the most convenient one. You can select up to 3 choices.
3- We'll get in touch.
Someone from your chosen unit (local Girlguiding group) will contact you. They'll aim to get back to you within 3 weeks. They will explain to you about meetings times, costs, what's planned for the term and if there's a waiting list.
4- Try guiding out.
If spaces are available, the unit will arrange a trial meeting for your child to attend. This gives you both an idea of what guiding is all about – we're sure you'll love it!
